1. General Policy
All application processing fees and purchases expressly identified as non-refundable are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
This policy applies to The Power of Pause™ speaker and panelist applications, including Student Speaker, Speaker, Panelist, and Speaker + Visibility Package application categories, as well as other purchases expressly described as non-refundable.
Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
2. Application Fees and Selection
Application fees are charged for the processing, administration, and consideration of applications.
Payment does not guarantee selection, acceptance, a speaking opportunity, a panelist position, or any other role within an event.
Submitting an application does not constitute an invitation or confirmation of participation.
All applications are subject to review and approval by Bella & Bella Productions.
3. No Refunds for Unsuccessful Applications
Application fees are non-refundable regardless of the selection outcome, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
In particular, refunds are not provided solely because:
- An applicant is not selected.
- An application is withdrawn.
- An applicant changes their mind.
- An applicant becomes unavailable.
- An applicant fails to complete application requirements.
- An applicant no longer wishes to participate.
4. Speaker + Visibility Package
Purchasing the Speaker + Visibility Package does not guarantee a speaking position or promotional exposure.
Speaker participation and visibility benefits are conditional upon formal written acceptance and fulfilment of the relevant participation requirements.
If an application is unsuccessful, the application fee remains non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
5. Event Changes or Cancellation
Bella & Bella Productions reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event programming, dates, format, or speakers.
If an event is cancelled or a paid service cannot be provided, we will review the circumstances and provide any remedies required by applicable law.
6. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same transaction, or that a payment was processed incorrectly, please contact us with the transaction details.
Verified payment errors will be corrected, including through a refund where appropriate.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable legislation.
